Yesterday, I spent a few hours with two dear friends who live in Paris. (Flo and Brigitte) We met at the Malongo Café near Odéon. I really love this place because it's more like a typical American coffeehouse (kinda like Peets, Coffee Bean, and Pannikan... than the cafés in Paris (which is a totally different concept). In all my travels so far in Europe-- Vienna, Budapest and Dublin all have the type of coffee houses where you can hang out ... more like a "salon du thé") here in France.
Brigitte's raspberry coffee soda drink with raspberry syrup, soda water and a shot of expresso! She said it was "refreshing!"
I blurred out people's faces because unless you ask for their permission to take the picture... they can ask to have the picture removed... Privacy laws in France...
