The Grande Epicerie at Au Bon Marché now serves up a good deal for lunch! They put in a cute little sidewalk " lunch spot- and serve up delicious panini sandwiches (hot) and other assorted cold sandwiches, salads, desserts, and even ice cream! I think it's a cute place if you want to grab something pretty healthy and pretty reasonably priced!
I thought I'd try the "cup cupakes" - which isn't included in the formule, so you have to pay for everything separately if you want the cupcake for dessert!!! I asked the gal who was working how the cupcakes tasted and she said, "DELICIOUS" and so I tried one. They're really pretty to look at but the cake is dense and a bit dry (more like a pound cake) and the frosting was grainy, dry and wayyyyy to sweet... Hmmmmm.... like some of the cupcakes I tried in California, too!!
